For recreation, residents head to Cunningham Park - one of Milton’s largest public parks. The Blue Hills Reservation is the perfect place for a ski trip, picnic or hike during the winter season. Houghton’s Pond, also nestled in the Blue Hills Reservation, offers activities like swimming, hiking, softball, fishing, skiing, horseback riding and picnicking.

Milton receives 50 inches of rainfall and 63 inches of snowfall per year. With the average high in the summer season around 81 degrees, it’s essential to have an air conditioning system to keep you and your family cool. Moreover, since the mercury drops as low as 17 in the winter season, it’s recommended that you install a heat pump to keep your home well heated and comfortable.
